We’re proud that Homeward Bound’s third store will opened November 3rd in Blue Back Square. We are so excited to be a part of this new, architecturally distinguished, mixed-use complex in thriving downtown West Hartford. Homeward Bound joins Crate & Barrel, REI, The Cheesecake Factory, Barnes & Noble, and Whole Foods, as well as other trendy regional stores and restaurants, including JD’s Cosmetic Essentials, National Jean Company, Lucy Activewear, Munson’s Chocolates and Chow Asian Bistro in this brand new streetscape.

Our new store has been painted in shades of gray and features a Venetian plaster wall adorned with a paper cutout Tree-of-Life. A 20-foot painted archway all the way from India graces the middle of the floor. A cranberry wall showcases community artwork in gallery style, with all art sale profits donated to support local arts.

This provides the backdrop for our wonderful and eclectic merchandise that includes comfortable sofas and chairs (including the only fully organic, high-end line available), live edge table designs, India hand-blocked exclusive bedding, romantic chandeliers, Red Flower bath, painted cabinets from India, beaded animals from Africa, stuffed animals from Peru, Sarah Perlis handmade jewelry, ELM Designs from Iceland, Chan-Luu fashions and jewelry, distinctive tableware, hand-blown glassware…and so much more. As always we offer custom furniture and complimentary design service – all to complement your own taste, not dictate it.
